The Memorial Service of Ng Kung-siu

The memorial service of Chris Ng Kung-siu was held this evening at the Causeway Bay Office of the Hong Kong Professional Teachers' Union with over a hundred of his friends and social activists attending, among them were Legislators, Leung Yiu-chung, Martin Lee and Ho Chun-yan. 

The assembly observed a minute's silence to pay their tribute to their fallen friend. Leung Yiu-chung recounted Chris's life and struggles, attributing him the highest respect for his civil disobedience acts. Then a VCD was shown in which Chris himself spoke on length the reasons why he defied the SAR laws and his passionate appeals on behalf on the poor and down-trodden.

After that, about a dozen of his friends talked about their remembrance and memories of Chris.

The service ended in the tune of the Internationale.
